CloseAre you following your own understanding, or are you truly seeking God’s truth? We all see the world through the lens of our traditions and personal experiences—but what if those views don’t align with God’s truth? In Mark 7:1-13, Jesus challenges the Pharisees for holding onto man-made traditions while ignoring God’s commands. Like them, we can fall into the trap of following what feels right instead of what God actually says in His Word. This sermon explores common ways we let tradition and personal beliefs replace God’s truth—from religious rituals to modern ideas about morality, happiness, and justice. Jesus calls us to see things through God’s eyes, not just our own. That means studying Scripture deeply, rejecting cultural distortions of faith, and committing to God’s way, not just "a way."
