Some people have the perfect family. Newsflash! Even Biblical families were messed up!

A lot of people, probably even yourself, think that other people have the perfect family. Maybe in another family you don’t see them fight or argue like you do in your own home. Or perhaps someone else’s children are better behaved than your own. It’s easy to think that another person has the perfect family, that there is even such a thing as the perfect family.

That is a lie though, that all other families are perfect or that there is even such a thing as a perfect family. The truth of the matter is, is that even Biblical families were pretty messed up. Every family is messed up, yours, mine, everyone’s. Why? Because not everyone agrees on everything, thus causing differences of opinion that can lead to friction and viola’ messed up family in some way, shape or form.

The big truth though, is that even though all families have problems, God can still do amazing things through you and in your family as you seek him. To refocus your family in the right way you should keep the words of God in the front of your mind. You should know and talk about God’s word everywhere you go. And you should live out the actions that God wants you to take.

There is no such thing as a perfect family. But if you put God first in all that you do and in your family, then you can become the family that God wants you to be.
